Super Alloy for Molds
This alloy has been designed for repair molds that work in hot conditions as: H-13, H-11, P-20, etc. It has an excellent ability to adapt to temperature changes, preventing cracks or fissures caused by thermal shocks. Its excellent wear-out resistance makes of Trust 4950 a versatile alloy for molds repair in the plastic industry as well as aluminum foundry. It is also useful in the repair of gear teeth in temperate condition.
Application:
Preferentially, use Direct Current and polarity. Adjust amperage according to the thickness of surface to weld, as well as tungsten electrode diameter. Argon Gas is recommended. Prepare the surface removing away undesirable material and dirt. Pre-heat and Post-heat will be according to deposit amount and base-metal chemistry.
